How booking information is collected and used.
Last updated: September 27, 2026
Information collected
We collect the details needed to review and provide a ride: name, email, phone number, pickup and destination addresses, requested date and time, passenger count, flight number for airport trips, and trip notes.
We also keep booking history and payment records: amounts, payment references, refunds, and any card dispute. Card details are entered on Stripe’s secure page and are not stored by this website.
To prevent abuse, the website uses a scrambled code derived from your internet (IP) address to limit repeated requests. It does not store the address itself, and the code is deleted after about an hour.
How information is used
Information is used to review requests, prevent scheduling conflicts, provide rides, send booking and payment updates, process payments and refunds, handle disputes, keep the service secure, and meet record-keeping obligations. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
Service providers
We share only what each provider needs to do its job:
- Stripe processes card payments and refunds.
- Resend delivers booking and payment emails.
- Cloudflare securely connects visitors to this website.
- A secure cloud storage provider keeps encrypted backup copies of booking records.
- Google (Gmail) hosts our business email, including booking notifications and messages you send us.
If you contact us through WhatsApp, your messages are handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.
Some of these providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to manage bookings, provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Accounting and tax records are generally kept for six years after the end of the last tax year they relate to, or longer where the law requires. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to booking records, and encrypted backups.
Your private booking link gives access to your booking. Keep it to yourself and do not forward it to people you do not want to see your trip details.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie, and Stripe’s payment page uses its own cookies under Stripe’s privacy policy.
Your rights and choices
You may ask to see or correct your personal information, or ask us to delete it. Send your request to the email address below. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, for example by replying from the email address used for the booking. We respond within 30 days, or tell you if we need more time as the law allows.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, but we may then be unable to provide or complete a booking. Some records must still be kept for legal or accounting reasons, and we will tell you if that applies.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Policy updates
We may update this policy when our services or providers change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If a change significantly affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell affected customers before it applies.
